Level 2 Bicycle Mechanics Course

Level 2 – Drivetrain & Bearings

Get hands-on with the heart of your bike’s mechanics. In this session, we’ll take apart and service key components that keep your bike turning smoothly. You’ll learn how to confidently remove, clean, and reinstall drivetrain and bearing parts.

You’ll learn:

• How to remove and reinstall your crankset, cassette, and bottom bracket
• How to take apart and adjust your headset
• How to install and size a new chain
• How to recognize wear and prevent costly damage

Info:

• For adults and older teens (no kids)
• Bring your own bike, or we can lend one if you tell us ahead of time
• Wear old clothes or bring an apron
• Please arrive 5–10 minutes early
