Meet the Team

Isaac Bonequi, Owner

Isaac Bonequi Atelier Olympia Owner Shimano S Tec UCI Mechanic

At 14 years old, Isaac began working as a bike mechanic in local shops.

Eventually, what started as an obsession turned into a full on career. Ever since those first repairs, Isaac left a formal education to pursue a life dedicated to bicycle mechanics.

After years of experience working full time as a mechanic and shop manager, Isaac decided to take his career to the final step and opened Atelier Olympia at the age of 19.

Known for his resourcefulness, passion, mechanical knowledge, industry friends and bicycle building skills, Isaac is what makes Atelier Olympia what it is. If he doesn't know or can't do something, then he has a friend who does or who can.

With more than a decade of experience, Isaac is a Shimano S-TEC certified mechanic, top-of-class Winterborne Bicycle Institute graduate, and UCI certified neutral support mechanic for pro and semi-pro racing.

Collector of vintage carbon wheels, Isaac is an expert wheel builder with a deep affection for bicycles as a world-changing machine.

Our newest recruit, Mason is a auto mechanic hobbyist turned full time cyclist. His experience in car mechanics and engineering studies are an asset to his work.

Mason is very comfortable with the average bike and is a quick learner. He spends his time outside the shop bike touring, playing bike polo, and volunteers as a mechanics instructor for local community bike shops.
