The Shop
Atelier Olympia isn't just different in principle: It's physically different.
Inspired by world-renowned bike shops and businesses like Factory Five, Bicycle Boys Clubhouse, King Kog, Brick Lane Bikes, BlueLug, and other giants, Atelier Olympia is designed to be a cyclist-friendly space that instills and transmits our love of cycling and bicycles as a machine.
When the average shop is crowded with too many bikes and product, Olympia is a space where walking around with your bike is welcome and easy to manage.
In-store, we only showcase products that we love and stand behind. The floor bikes are all custom builds to show off what we can do. There's a hangout space with our extensive collection of vintage cycling magasines in English and French for you to flip through, and our in-house coffee shop and terrasse for you to enjoy courtesy of Traffic, our favourite local coffee roaster. There's original vintage cycling posters and memorabilia hanging on the walls, Isaac's private wheel collection, local Alleycat T-Shirts framed, one-of-a-kind bikes displayed, and some of the world's rarest collector-grade parts in a hundred-year-old cabinet for you to salivate over.
If that's not enough, you'll also notice that the cabinets, counters, the giant sky lamp, and much of what's in the shop were also custom-built by yours truly.
We believe the space we serve the community in is as important as the bikes we build. In order to inspire people to ride their bike, our shop as an environment must also inspire cycling. We are proud to offer our shop as a space for customers not to only to use our services, but also as a place for the cycling community to come together and celebrate the machine that brings us all together in the first place.
